Allow Me to Introduce You!

It dawned on me the other day that I haven’t introduced everyone to the newest member of our family! And then I started thinking…have I introduced any of the rest of the family, so everyone can put names and faces together? Oh boy. I haven’t! So, here we go…

Well, obviously, that’s me there, holding the cat. Hey, y’all! If you want to know more about me, just CLICK HERE, and we’ll leave it at that!

That handsome guy to the right is my husband, Jerrod. Jerrod works in insurance claims for GEICO (15 minutes could save you 15% or more on car insurance!), sings so well that he’s actually won singing competitions, and does a fantastic job at keeping our yard pretty, helping around the house and keeping me sane!

The small black furry creature that I’m holding is CoCo the black kitty. (Can you BELIEVE that she looks right at the camera for pictures! She’s always done that!) We rescued CoCo when she was about 4 weeks old.

We bottle-fed her for several weeks (she was that tiny), taught her to eat and potty in the litter box and walk on a leash and she’s been a crazy part of the family ever since. CoCo’s favorite things to do are sleep and eat green beans. She’s also a big fan of stalking birds in the backyard. And sitting in tight spaces.

And now, here is the newest member of our family!

Meet Taffy the dog!

We rescued Taffy, as well, but she was already 3 years old when we brought her home. She is the happiest dog (as you can clearly see from this picture) and she loves going outside, any kind of toy (whether it be a cat toy or a dog toy) and having her belly rubbed.

So we’re still doing a little bit of adjusting around the house as far as CoCo and Taffy becoming friends. CoCo was shocked when we brought Taffy home, and Taffy was excited to play with CoCo, and then sad when CoCo expresses her distaste in playing or doing anything else with the filthy I-can’t-believe-this-thing-stays-in-this-house-now dog. Follow me on Instagram and you’ll see more of their antics, I promise!

So that’s our little family! I guess we need an updated “family picture” right? I’ll get right on that!
